And the Beat goes on

I saw the blue sky today. I walked on the cool green grass today. I heard a bird sing today. I saw a smile on someone's face today. But, the war did not stop ??

Amazing ignorance

Each time a terror alert is given the critics start their naysaying. Seeing all kinds of motivation for the alert and making unsubstanuated claims about the intelligence used to define the alert. It is partisan and prejudiced politics at its very worst. First, its embarrassing to the country that people would cast such a pall over a very serious and dangerous situation. Second, it is giving the terrorist incentive to continue their criminal behavior as they see the division in the country as a victory in itself. The terribly sad thing is the critics do not see what they are doing and the really tragic thing is they may know exactly what they are doing...
