Bake sale at SMU...

click on the link above to read the press release related to the bake sale incident. The sale that was selling cookies for different prices to different races to make a point about affirmative action. SMU states it was shut down because it engaged in discriminatory practices through the sale of goods priced according to race....
Apparently it is OK to sell college educations based on race, ethnicity or gender....oops perhaps they don't glean the doublethink in this !!
Also this had stirred quite a debate on the matter on campus and some officials saw the lively debate as harrassment?? Figure that one?? PC...

For 30 years Iraq...

existed with a brutal dictator that oppressed the people and isolated them from the world. Choosing for them to hear only his side of the story and his images of the outside world. Now, Nightline does a segment on where Iraq is today 6 months after liberation and criticizes their efforts and results by measuring them against the standards we have in America. Is Nightline populated with ignorance or buffoons who know no better??

The UN Speech...

set forth the blueprint to fight for the good cause. The nations of the world have been challenged to join in the fight. We shall see what the moral fiber of the international community is. America has demonstrated its moral fiber and it has been found to be more than sufficient. History will judge those who do not stand and fight for the good cause as severly lacking as moral beacons in a world desperately in need of leadership and action to defeat the forces of chaos.

Genesis

Sept. 21, 2003 -- ZBlog is born. An Internet presence is now duly presented. Follow the evolution of ZBlog as we crawl, walk and maybe run...the genesis was not easy. Problems connecting to the memory cells because in the beginning even it did not recognize itself....
