The stem cell research has forged ahead in the private sector and yet no major breakthroughs have been announced. So, now your tax dollars will go to destroy the potential for life.
Now, the question becomes how many embryos will be destroyed to maybe cure a disease or reverse the effects of one. And what new frontiers of immorality will science open up for us in the future? I suspect with a nation of self-centered, selfish people w/o a moral compass the implications for the use of human elements to cure their afflictions will be unimaginable.
